Peter is the Vice-President responsible for satellite communication products at Calian. Peter has more than 25 years of experience with the company and his career has focused on the development of both hardware and software products, particularly in the satellite test, measurement and monitoring areas. Peter’s team is focused on delivering innovative, high-performance products to customers. He is a Professional Engineer and has an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.

Darren has over 25 years of experience in various positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, project, and management roles with Calian, Advanced Technologies (formerly Calian SED). He is responsible for identifying new opportunities, building customer relations and ensuring good project execution and meeting critical schedules. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.

As the Senior Vice-President of Space at Calian, Advanced Technologies, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the Calian space market, leading the space ground solutions divisions in achieving their objectives in business development, execution excellence and customer satisfaction. Dan holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan.

He is responsible for business development, product management, marketing and sales of the Calian, Advanced Technologies Carbon Fibre Antenna product line. Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology from California State University, Long Beach.

Utilizing agile processes and flexible collaboration, Russ and his team work together with customers to design and deliver leading-edge software solutions that provide competitive advantages. Russ has a background in software development, and he has 25 years of experience in the satellite industry.

His role is to develop Calian’s business in providing ground segment infrastructure in the commercial satellite sector, along with a particular focus on Deep Space, Earth Observation, and Scientific markets. He also provides management support for Calian’ LEO Satellite Operations team embedded at the Canadian Space Agency. Denis has a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
