Syantra and Calian collaborate to provide access to innovative breast cancer screening blood test
In 2021, Syantra received accreditation from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta for the Syantra DX | Breast Cancer screening blood test. Clinical studies demonstrated an accuracy rate of 92.2 per cent for women between 25 and 80, and 98.5 per cent for women under 50.

Calian contributies $75,0000 to fund research related to improving access to care for military families
In October 2023, Calian announced a contribution of $25,000 per year for the next three years to the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research (CIMVHR) to fund research related to improving access to care for military families. Calian’s investment will support research on the use of digital and virtual healthcare solutions to improve access to care. These healthcare solutions include remote patient monitoring, artificial intelligence and medical devices.
