(Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, September 3, 2025) Calian GNSS is excited to announce that it has added the housed TW7972RXF rugged triple-band antenna to its Accutenna® line. The key new features of the TW7972RXF are a new lightweight corrosion-protected aluminum base, robust radome and SMA connector or cabled option.

The triple-band TW7972RXF antenna supports: GPS/QZSS L1/L2/L5, Galileo E1/ E5a/b, BeiDou B1/B2a/b, GLONASS G1/G2/G3 and, in the region of operation, satellite-based augmentation systems (SBAS): [WAAS (North America), EGNOS (Europe), MSAS (Japan), or GAGAN (India)], as well as L-band correction services.

The TW7972RXF is housed in a surface mount, weatherproof (IP67) enclosure. Three mounting options are available: four screws, magnet or adhesive tape. Calian GNSS supplies an antenna installation guide which provides installation and cable-connector waterproofing best practices.

The radio frequency spectrum has become congested worldwide as many new LTE bands have been activated, and their signals or harmonic frequencies can affect GNSS antennas and receivers. In North America, the planned Ligado service, which will broadcast in the frequency range of 1526 to 1536 MHz, can affect GNSS signals. New LTE signals in Europe [Band 32 (1452 – 1496 MHz)] and Japan [Bands 11 and 21 (1476 – 1511 MHz)] have also affected GNSS signals. Calian’s new TW7972RXF mitigates the effects of these new signals.

Trust Calian GNSS to provide clean and pure GNSS signals in a noisy RF world.
