Reliable communications spanning the globe

Calian operates teleports in three regions, providing reliable satellite communications. Teleports are ideally located in Hawaii, Guam and Saskatoon, providing strategic connections for international communications and enhanced access. Additionally, Calian has access to third-party sites across the Canadian Arctic to host customer equipment.

Hawaii teleports

The Calian Hawaii teleports are located on multiple Hawaiian Islands, offering a diverse solution to customer needs. The flagship teleport, located on the island of Oahu, offers coverage throughout the Pacific region, servicing a range of users, including U.S. government, mobility, broadcast and satellite operator support for both LEO and NGEO constellations.

  • These teleports are at a unique point of intersection between high-capacity trans-oceanic fibre networks and the satellite fleets of the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions.
  • Offering single hop, low latency connectivity between Asia and the continental U.S.

Guam teleport

The Calian Guam teleport, located in Pulantat, Guam, provides a full range of carrier services. It connects the Marianas (Guam, Saipan, Tinian and Rota) and beyond, providing carrier-quality connectivity to the Commonwealth of the North Mariana Islands (CNMI) and Micronesia over multiple cable systems including the ATISA 280-kilometre submarine cable system.

Saskatoon teleport

Located across the street from Calian’s Saskatoon headquarters, the Saskatoon teleport provides full-featured services for communications gateways and TT&C for satcom as well as Earth observation clients. This teleport hosts the world’s first full-motion, four-metre Q/V-band antenna for tracking low Earth orbit (LEO) or medium Earth orbit (MEO) satellites.
