As a Xilinx Alliance partner, Calian Advanced Technologies has a complete suite of SC-QAM and OFDM upstream receivers and downstream PHY modulator blocks. This enables DOCSIS 3.1, DOCSIS 4.0 Remote PHY, FMA, FDX, and Extended Spectrum products.

DOCSIS 3.1 Remote PHY

Calian offers DOCSIS 3.1 modules and reference designs with proven OFDM, OFDMA, SC-QAM, and a complete suite of R-OOB functions are available to evolve your Fiber RF Amplifier into a Remote PHY product. Solutions support both North American and European requirements.

Flexible MAC / PHY Architecture (FMA)

Calian solutions can be evolved to support Flexible Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) MAC / PHY architectures. Proven Calian IP and Xilinx MPSoC with integrated processors and programmable logic offer an efficient single chip Flexible MAC / PHY architectures.

DOCSIS 4.0 Extended Spectrum (FDD)

DOCSIS OFDM and OFDMA IP blocks are scalable to support higher density module designs and support the extended frequency range required for DOCSIS 4.0 Extended Spectrum (FDD) products. Performance of Calian IP with Xilinx RFSoC silicon has been proven up to 1.8GHz.

DOCSIS 4.0 Full Duplex (FDX)

DOCSIS OFDM and OFDMA IP blocks are scalable to support higher density designs and when paired the multiple DAC and ADCs of the Xilinx RFSoC can be a compelling solution for Full Duplex DOCSIS products.
