    Kevin Ford

    President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

    Kevin Ford was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in April 2015.  Prior to becoming Calian's CEO, Kevin served as Calian's Business and Technology Services Division President for over 4 years.

    "Teamwork, integrity and commitment are values that have guided me throughout my career and continue to drive me today" says Kevin. "Calian is in a unique position to leverage a solid foundation and I am excited about our future potential.  We have strong diverse services offering with the proven capability to deliver both domestically and globally".

    Kevin's enthusiastic leadership style and team building skills have created a motivated environment in which total customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal. Capitalizing on the strength of Calian's highly qualified Senior Management Team, Kevin focuses his considerable energy and talents on nurturing and expanding the company's client base.

    Prior to joining Calian, Kevin has worked in professional services for over 30 years, including 11 years at IBM as a Partner in Global Business Services.

    Jacqueline Gauthier, CPA (CA), ICD.D

    Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Corporate Secretary

    Jacqueline Gauthier is a Chartered Professional Accountant with 30 years of progressive experience in all financial and business aspects of an organization. She joined Calian in October 2000 and has held the position of CFO and Corporate Secretary since March 2002.

    Jacqueline is currently Co-Chair and Secretary of the charitable organization Dress for Success, Ottawa Chapter and she also sat on the Board of Directors of Excellence Canada, an organization that is committed to advancing organizational excellence across Canada, from 2014 to 2017. Her core values include Integrity, Quality and Team Work.

    Previously, Jacqueline worked at KPMG and at both Domtar and E.B. Eddy Forest Products in senior financial roles.

    Patrick Thera

    President, Systems Engineering Division

    Patrick Thera is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the System Engineering Division's (SED) technically challenging and time critical project environment. Patrick has direct responsibility for the pursuit, acquisition and execution of all projects at SED.

    Patrick joined SED in 1985 and became President of SED Systems in 2012.  He has obtained extensive experience in satellite communications, program management and business development through his progressive roles with the company. Patrick holds a B.Sc. Hon. in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan.

    Lynn Stevens

    Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

    At the heart of Calian’s long-term growth is its employees. Lynn, working with the HR team, is responsible for developing and executing a human resource strategy in support of Calian’s overall business plans and strategic direction. Lynn leverages best practices in the development of Calian employees while providing a focal point for the integration of employees from future acquisitions.

    Her strong strategic leadership supports the communication of HR needs and plans to the executive leadership team and the translation of those needs into specific actions, with positive impacts for Calian team members.

    Prior to Lynn’s appointment as Chief Human Resources Officer, she was BTS division Vice President of Human Resources. Before joining Calian, Lynn held senior-level HR roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Amdocs (formerly Solect Technology Group) and Corel Corporation.

    Jerry Johnston

    Chief Information Officer (CIO)

    Jerry has over 35 years of experience in management at Calian and other high-tech companies in the Ottawa region. Since joining Calian in 1992, he has held a number of leadership positions, including Director of Engineering, Vice President, Outsourcing, Vice President, Operations and Vice President, Training. Each of these roles required a focus on performance excellence, customer satisfaction, and service offering evolution.

    As CIO, Jerry brings this same focus to Calian Group Ltd. by appropriately integrating enterprise risk management, process management and information technology. These enablers allow Calian to achieve growth targets while maintaining its reputation for delivery excellence.
