Calian is a proven provider of technical engineering training courses in the UK and overseas.

Engineering training support

We deliver engineering training support solutions for equipment on-board ship. Our training programs are for equipment that has been updated or for new fittings.

The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation does not always provide all the information on preventative and corrective maintenance, fault location or removal, and replacement routines. Our team provides you with the training to effectively carry out a range of maintenance support activities, no matter the challenge.

On-job training and staff mentorship

We deliver practical on-job training and mentorship to sustain the value of classroom training. With task books, we mitigate skill fade between periods of classroom and academic training and assessment.

We provide on-site training coordination and remote follow-up training sessions with staff to keep their skills sharp. Our programs are designed to enable your staff to fully develop their engineering skills in a practical setting.

Our maritime project team is highly experienced in delivering maritime training, enabling consistent application of learning topics for the maritime and naval environment. We offer blended learning solutions to balance instructor-led training with student-led computer-based training.
