Training for modern, multi-domain operations

Calian delivers comprehensive training environments that reflect the realities of modern operations—multi-domain, joint and coalition-based. 

Using the latest NATO concepts and doctrine and building on our experience in current operations, we prepare personnel for distributed operations, high-intensity conflict and compressed decision-making timelines across land, air, sea, cyber and space. Exercise design, development and delivery (E-3D)

Calian provides responsive exercise design and delivery that challenges participants with realistic, contemporary threats, including hybrid and pacing scenarios.

Exercise and training support

We provide a full spectrum of subject matter experts across all domains—land, maritime, air, space and cyberspace—to support NATO and allied forces in dynamic, high-pressure environments, including mission-critical operations.

Computer-assisted exercise (CAX) support

Calian provides both CAX technical SMEs and CAX operators to support NATO exercises and training across tactical, operational and strategic levels. Support is specifically focused on command post exercises (CPX), where forces are generated, moved and managed in a distributed synthetic simulation environment.

Media simulation and training

We create realistic media simulations during exercises to expose participants to the same scrutiny, pressure and fast-moving information environment they would face in a real crisis or operation. 

Our highly experienced team of journalists, technical specialists and social media editors replicate a complete media environment across the full spectrum of channels, including social platforms, TV, radio and online news. These simulations bring a level of realism and complexity that is a constant of today’s battlefield.

We also deliver workshops to help military personnel engage effectively with the media, covering interviews, press conferences, messaging and use of the information environment.
