These solutions address the evolving requirements of surveying, mapping, critical infrastructure, marine, autonomy, public safety and defence users who need both precision positioning and GNSS resilience in increasingly challenging RF environments.

Together, the AC4990PXF, pole mount CRPA, and AJ979XF+-MAR full-band anti-jamming antenna address the full spectrum of GNSS requirements, from high-accuracy surveying and machine control to assured positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) operations in interference-prone and contested RF environments as witnessed across Europe.

Designed and built in Canada for precision surveying

The new AC4990PXF antenna, leverages Calian’s innovative Accutenna® 4 technology to provide survey-grade GNSS performance in a lightweight, rugged form factor optimized for pole-mounted deployments. Built on a novel stacked composite patch antenna element, the AC4 combines full-band GNSS coverage, advanced interference mitigation and superior phase centre stability to support today’s most demanding geospatial workflows.

As surveying professionals face increasing pressure to deliver accurate results in challenging environments, the AC4 pole mount provides a dependable solution for RTK, PPK and PPP applications, helping users achieve consistent centimetre-level positioning performance.

Key features
  • Full GNSS band coverage supporting GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, SBAS and correction services in a single antenna.
  • Accutenna® 4 technology featuring an advanced four-feed compact stacked composite patch antenna design that minimizes multipath interference and maintains a highly stable phase centre.
  • Survey-grade phase centre performance with phase centre variation (PCV) of less than 3 mm for highly repeatable RTK, PPK and PPP measurements.
  • Lightweight and rugged design optimized for survey pole installations and field deployment.
  • Superior interference rejection utilizing Calian’s proven eXtended Filtering (XF) technology to reject LTE and other unwanted RF signals. erican, 1901-1942)

Expanding pole mount CRPA options for resilient GNSS operations

Calian continues to expand its portfolio of controlled reception pattern antennas (CRPAs), providing customers with flexible deployment options for resilient GNSS applications. The latest pole mount CRPA solutions support dual-frequency architectures including L1/E1 + L2/E5bApp, enabling compatibility with modern multi-frequency GNSS receiver platforms and next-generation positioning systems. Designed for marine vessels, monitoring stations and critical infrastructure, these antennas combine installation flexibility with advanced anti-jamming protection. Features include mitigation of up to three jamming sources per band, integrated XF+ filtering for superior out-of-band rejection and cross-band isolation, GPS and Galileo support, and real-time situational awareness messaging to support resilient PNT operations.

Introducing full-band anti-jamming antenna

The AJ979XF+-MAR full-band anti-jamming antenna is designed for mission-critical positioning, navigation and timing applications where interference resilience is essential. The AJ979XF+-MAR provides comprehensive support for GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS, NavIC and regional SBAS services across all major GNSS frequency bands.

The antenna combines Calian’s proprietary Low Elevation Angle Nulling Antenna (LEANA) technology with advanced XF+ filtering to provide exceptional protection against jamming and RF interference. The LEANA radiation pattern delivers approximately 20 dB suppression of signals arriving between 0° and 15° elevation, reducing susceptibility to low-angle ground-based jammers while maintaining excellent satellite visibility and positioning performance.

In addition, the AJ979XF+-MAR incorporates more than 80 dB of out-of-band rejection through XF+ filtering, helping protect GNSS receivers from LTE, satellite communications and other interference sources. Its dual-channel architecture helps maintain operational capability even when one signal channel experiences interference.

Key features
  • Full-band, multi-constellation GNSS support including GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS and NavIC.
  • Advanced anti-jamming performance using LEANA technology and XF+ filtering.
  • More than 80 dB out-of-band interference rejection.
  • High-gain 40 dB LNA with low-noise design for improved signal quality.
  • Excellent multipath mitigation through circular polarization and superior axial ratio performance.

“Customers today require both precision and resilience from their GNSS infrastructure,” said Ken MacLeod, Director of Product Management at Calian GNSS. “Whether customers need survey-grade accuracy, advanced anti-jamming protection or resilient PNT performance in contested environments, the latest antenna solutions extend the breadth of our portfolio and provide more options for mission-critical applications. The AC4 pole mount antenna, pole mount CRPA and AJ979XF+-MAR full-band anti-jamming antenna demonstrate Calian’s continued commitment to innovation across the GNSS ecosystem.”

“Organizations across surveying, critical infrastructure, marine, defence and autonomous systems are facing increasing demands for positioning accuracy, signal integrity and operational resilience,” said Christopher Russell, Vice President, Global Sales & Growth, Calian GNSS. “With the AC4 pole mount antenna and the continued expansion of our anti-jamming and CRPA portfolio, Calian is delivering solutions that address the full spectrum of customer requirements, from centimetre-level survey accuracy to assured PNT in the most challenging RF environments. We’re excited to showcase these innovations to the global geospatial community at INTERGEO 2026.”
