STRIVR Playbook

iOS applictation development

Based in Palo Alto, California, STRIVR started with a love for football and a passion for virtual reality, envisioning a way to leverage VR to allow for safe, efficient training.

We assisted in developing the STRIVR Playbook, a 360-degree video manager and player for iOS. The STRIVR Playbook allows football teams to record videos of their plays for later review. This is done using an iPad for training, which reduces the need for players to repeat the same plays in a live drill. A quarterback can relive any play, watching different reads every time, allowing for a knowledge of their playbook in action like never before. SimWave worked with STRIVR to integrate their secure server infrastructure and video management service with a low-latency 360-degree video player for maximum performance.
