Product Roadmap
Calian’s design teams take a proactive approach to the evolution of product capabilities and applications.
Our design teams stay current with new technologies, assess market needs, meet with our customers to generate specific use cases and develop subsequent release plans ensuring product development milestones are achieved.
Product Change
The scope of design changes can vary from software enhancements including updated or new applications, to hardware changes ranging from new component values, chassis modifications or the re-layout of a CCA.

Product Test and Validation
Test and validation are critical aspects of any design evolution project.
Calian’s comprehensive test capability is completed during all phases of the design evolution process ensuring requirements are met. This includes software, hardware and unit level testing.
Design Adaptation
Calian offers design adaptation to transform product designs for customers around the globe so they can be manufactured in Canada. Calian has substantial experience in analyzing external designs and adapting them for production in Canada.

Government and Military Applications
Our products are designed to work in some of the most demanding government and military applications.
Calian has partnered with General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada (GDLS-C) on the evolution of the Power Control Module used in the Light Armoured Vehicles (LAV).
This next generation product includes many enhancements which provides GDLS-C with a competitive edge over their competitors.
