Ottawa Citizen: Major Canadian military training exercise draws on realistic, complex crises
Unified Resolve, a simulated Army training exercise, was held at Canadian Forces Base Valcartier. The training exercise is designed and delivered in part by the Canadian Army Simulation Centre (CASC), a group of both Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members and a team of predominantly former military personnel provided by Calian Training. This year’s exercise (UR18) was the largest one yet, running over six long days in February. It required almost a year of planning, two weeks of setup, and over 1,200 military, ex-military and civilian personnel to execute.
