Calian was contracted by the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) for an R&D project to develop a DNA-based dosimeter for use in space missions. This small, portable and non-electronic dosimeter can measure the radiation dose absorbed by astronauts during space missions to provide critical data for mission operations and radiation protection.
