Calian developed an immersive training solution for joint terminal attack controllers (JTACs) that integrates automated voice recognition technology in a virtual reality (VR) device. VR is combined with Calian’s training augmented by speech recognition (TASR), which provides audio cues to the trainee and recognizes the trainee’s spoken responses.
