About the Role:
Registered Nurses work in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in a clinic designed to ensure that newly arrested individuals receive competent and timely healthcare services upon booking in the jail.
You will conduct head to toe assessments, administer medication, and respond to emergencies for individuals who are being held for up to 72 hours within the jail. You will work with medical directives and standing offers, while having access to PharmaNet, an off-site Medical Director and a Lead Nurse should you need support.

• Must be licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia
• Must hold an active CPR-HCP, BCLS or ACLS certification
• Two years’ experience in a medical/surgical unit or emergency room environment is required
• Experience working in corrections would be an asset
Type of Assignment:
Contract, Full time, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, 12 hour shifts
