About the role:
Calian is building a team of Paramedics in anticipation of locum travel assignments in First Nations communities across northern Manitoba. These communities have medical clinics largely operated by Community Health Nurses. Should these clinics need more support due to COVID-19, then our Paramedics will be called upon for relief duties.
In this role you may be conducting medical assessments, responding to urgent care concerns, reviewing patient care needs and more – all within your scope of practice.
These locum assignments will likely be about 2 weeks in length, but this will depend on the needs at the time. You will only be asked to accept assignments that align with your availability.
Travel to site will be provided, along with accommodations and a daily northern living allowance.

• CPR certificate
• N95 mask fit certificate
• Drivers License
• Minimum of one year of experience
