About the role:
Obstetric Nurses are needed to provide relief services in Nunavut on an urgent basis. These are travel assignments to the territory, working in remote and isolated communities, providing care to new moms and moms-to-be.
Nunavut is anticipating an increase in the number of women, who would traditionally leave the territory to delivery their babies, staying in Nunavut to deliver their babies due to the increased risk of COVID-19.
As an Obstetrics Nurse you can help contribute in an under served community, especially during this time of crisis across our globe.
Assignments are a minimum of 6 weeks long. Travel to site is provided, along with accommodation and a daily non-taxable northern living allowance. We offer competitive hourly rates, stand by pay and call back pay.
• Must be licensed with the Registered Nurses Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut – licenses are currently being expediated for new applicants
