About the role:
A Nurse Practitioner is needed to provide primary healthcare services to male and female offenders at the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre. The TBCC is a medium security facility.
You will be responsible for performing examinations, patient counselling, health promotion, as well as diagnosing, treating and monitoring acute and chronic health conditions.
The clinic operates Monday and Wednesday 1pm-4pm and Saturday or Sunday 1pm-4pm.
This role could be filled by one NP working all 9 hours per week, or we could split the clinic hours among two or more NPs.
