About the role:
Military service members at CFB Wainwright benefit from the support of a diverse and experienced mental health team. As a Mental Health Nurse on this team you will benefit from being a part of a comprehensive healthcare team who have time with their patients and access to resources.
Your role will be to conduct intake assessments, build treatment plans, provide one-on-one counselling, monitor medication and ultimately support the military service member in returning to service. You will be counselling individuals who may be experiencing PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief or addictions.
This role offers Monday to Friday day-time hours. No weekend or overtime hours will be required. You will have time to dedicate to your patients while also enjoying work-life balance.
• Must be licensed with CARNA or CRPNA
• Must meet one of the following categories
• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of community mental health nursing experience
• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree or a Diploma and a certification in mental health nursing
• Registered Psychiatric Nurse Degree

Calian Group Ltd. has successfully re-won the Health Care Providers Requirements (HCPR) contract for the provision of health support services to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). Two additional contracts were also awarded for the provision of health support services to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).
The HCPR contract with the CAF is a renewal of the Health Services Support Contract (HSSC) that Calian has held since 2004. The HCPR contract has an initial term of four (4 years) and an option to extend the contract for up to eight (8) additional years for a total of 12 years.
