About the role:
Calian is seeking a physician to work as a Medical Standards Analyst with the Directorate of Medical Policy at the Canadian Forces Health Services Group Headquarters in Ottawa.
As the designated physician you will be asked to review medical records and determine the medical fitness, employment limitations and the medical category for Canadian Armed Forces members posted nationwide and outside of Canada.
Responsibilities also include but are not limited to analysing, compiling, updating, entering and validating medical data through computer-based applications.
Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
Certification in Family Medicine with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
Minimum of 6 years' experience directly providing patient medical care in a primary care, occupational medicine, urgent care or emergency setting
Minimum of 3 years’ occupational medicine experience
Type of Assignment: Part time contract (30 hrs/wk)
