About the role:
Advanced Care Paramedics are needed for two to four-week locum assignments across northern Manitoba’s First Nations’ communities.
In these roles, you will travel into remote and isolated communities to provide medical support within your scope of practice within medical clinics that are led primarily by Registered Nurses. Your support will likely be related to COVID-198 response, both proactive and reactive.
Flights and accommodations are provided, along with a daily northern living allowance. There may be a requirement to be on standby outside of regular working hours in some communities.
These roles are well suited to experienced Advanced Care Paramedics who have flexible schedules that will allow you to take assignments as they are provided in these communities. Work is anticipated to start as soon as mid July.
• Licensed as an Advanced Care Paramedic in Manitoba
• CPR certificate
• Drivers License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Advanced Care Paramedic
Type of assignment:
Casual contract, two to four week ad hoc locum assignments
