Kanata, Ontario June 18, 2007 - Calian Technologies Ltd. (TSX: CTY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Cellucci to Calian’s Board of Directors effective immediately.
Mr. Cellucci offers more than 35 years of public service experience, including, US Ambassador to Canada (2001 – 2005), Governor of Massachusetts (1997-2001), and Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts (1991-1997). Mr. Cellucci has also worked with businesses to expand their growth opportunities both nationally and internationally. He is now special counsel with McCarter and English, LLP in their Boston office.
Mr. Cellucci received his law degree from Boston College Law School in 1973. In 1970, he graduated from the Boston College School of Management, where he served in the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC). He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1970 until 1978, when he was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain.
