CALIAN TECHNOLOGY Ltd. DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND OF $0.05 PER SHARE

Kanata, Ontario November 6, 2003: Calian Technology Ltd. (TSX: CTY): today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share. The dividend is payable December 4, 2003 to shareholders of record as of November 20, 2003.
